Euclid Beach Candy Kisses

From the tail end of the 19th century to the year we went to the moon, Clevelanders were spending their summers at Euclid Beach Amusement Park (Cedar Point who??). While the Dippy Whip (yes a real ride) may never again see the light of day, you can still enjoy the park’s signature taffy treat, the Candy Kiss. (Like many of Cleveland’s regional delicacies, Candy Kisses are beloved by the elderly and treated with skepticism by the young.) You would think vinegar and vanilla would be weird together but don’t knock it til you’ve tried it.
